By using CalorieWatch AI (the "App") or this website, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
Not medical advice
CalorieWatch provides estimated nutrition information for general wellness and education. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before changing your diet, especially if you have a medical condition.
AI estimates
Calorie and macro values generated by AI or third-party databases are approximations and may be incorrect. You are responsible for verifying any information that affects your health.
Your account
- You must provide accurate registration information and keep your credentials secure.
- You are responsible for activity under your account.
- You must be old enough to use the App under applicable law (typically 13+; 16+ in some regions).
Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the App, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with our systems, or use the App for unlawful purposes.
Intellectual property
The App, branding, and content we provide are owned by CalorieWatch or our licensors. You receive a limited, non-exclusive license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.
Availability
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Disclaimer of warranties
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CalorieWatch and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.
Termination
You may stop using the App at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms. See Delete Account for data removal.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in your place of residence unless otherwise required by local law.
Meal photos on your device
Meal photos you capture in the App are stored locally on your device, not on our servers. Nutrition and meal log data may be stored in the cloud, but images remain on the device where they were taken.
- You can hide meal photos in Settings; hidden photos remain saved on your device.
- Uninstalling the App permanently deletes local meal photos. They cannot be recovered after uninstall.
- Account deletion removes your cloud profile and meal log data; it does not restore photos already removed by uninstalling the App.
